A house
of books.
In Twi, nwoma means books. Fie means house. Nwomafie is a community library project in Juaben, Ashanti — built one book, one summary, one neighbour at a time.
There is no library in our town.
The main purpose of starting Nwomafie is simple: there is no library in Juaben. Children grow up here without a place to wander shelves, sit quietly, or borrow a book on a Saturday. We are determined to change that.

One book a month. One summary. One conversation.
While we raise the walls of the library, we use social media as our shelves. Every month we choose one book together. We read it. We record a short summary video and share it on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and X — all under @nwomafie. Follow along — every summary lives a tap away.

Juaben, Ashanti, Ghana.
The Ashanti Region sits in the heart of Ghana. Juaben is our home. This is where the physical Nwomafie library will rise. Until then, every donated book is one more brick.
